What is a Virtual 5K?

A Virtual 5K is a race you can run or walk at any location, at your pace, outside or on a treadmill, alone or with a group of family/friends.  5K = 3.1 miles

How does it work?

  1. Register!   REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!  All proceeds from your registration or donation WILL go directly to the team you designate!   
  2. Pick-up your race t-shirt!  If you registered by 11:59pm October 18, your commemorative t-shirt will be available for pick-up on October 29, 4:00pm - 7:00 pm at the Colgan HS football stadium.  NOTE: If you register after 11:59 on October 18, your t-shirt will be available for pickup after the October 31 event.  You will be contacted when your t-shirt is available.  
  3. Time to Run/Walk!  On October 31, 2020, run or walk your 5K at any location and at your pace!
  4. Tag us!  Share your journey along the way and don't forget to tag us on twitter (@colgan_hs) and Instagam (@colganathleticboosters) #ColganAthleticBoostersV5K
  5. Congratulations!  You can feel good that you you've done something good for yourself and supported Colgan's athletic program and student-athletes!
The Colgan Sports team that raises the most money through registrations and donations will win a 1st place prize!
